The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has recently announced the date for the declaration of the results of the Chartered Accountants Final and Intermediate Examination held in November 2023. According to the official notice, the results are likely to be declared on Tuesday, the 9th January 2024. This is a much-awaited moment for all the candidates who appeared for the exams in November last year.

About the CA Exams

The ICAI conducts the CA exams twice a year, in May and November. The exams are divided into two levels: Intermediate and Final. The Intermediate level consists of two groups of four papers each, while the Final level consists of two groups of four papers each. The exams cover various topics related to accounting, auditing, taxation, law, management, and finance.

How to Check the Results

The candidates can access their results on the ICAI website, icai.nic.in, starting from 10:00 AM on January 9, 2024. To check their results, they need to log in to the website using their registration number and PIN number. Alternatively, they can also register their email address and mobile number on the website to receive their results through email and SMS.

Merit List and Passing Criteria

The ICAI will also release the merit list of the top 50 candidates for both the Intermediate and Final exams. The merit list will be available on the same website along with the results. The candidates who secure a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and an aggregate of 50% marks in all the papers of a group or both the groups will be considered as passed.
